How You'll Create Possibilities

As the Principal Facilities Engineer, you'll:
  • Be the Expert: Serve as the go-to technical consultant for plant infrastructure and manufacturing equipment, supporting operations across multiple shifts.
  • Lead Infrastructure Operations: Oversee lighting, HVAC, electrical systems, air compressors, chillers, and more, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve recurring issues, develop action plans for chronic maintenance challenges, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Foster Team Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance teams, coaching and building a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Manage Utility Budgets: Monitor and control plant utility usage, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
  • Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain robust documentation of work, including repairs and system adjustments, adhering to safety protocols like Lock Out-Tag Out.
  • Support Advanced Manufacturing: Collaborate on integration of infrastructure with automation and robotics, serving as a gatekeeper for PLC and robotic programming.


What You'll Bring to Our Team

Requirements:
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering OR equivalent hands-on experience with 5+ years in maintenance, engineering, or facilities management.
  • Technical Expertise: Broad knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems, including machining processes like turning, milling, welding, and grinding.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven supervisory skills, excellent team-building, and communication abilities, with experience working directly with production operators.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive results.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and implement projects effectively, translating long-term strategies into daily operations.
  • Automation Mastery: Skilled in troubleshooting, programming automation systems, and robotics integration.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced software systems, including PLC programming and eAM systems.
