Senior Research Analyst (Survey)

POLITICO is seeking a Senior Research Analyst (Survey) responsible for executing primary research projects (including brand lift studies, custom surveys, and in-depth interviews) across the organization. The person in this role will facilitate research initiatives that inform consumer strategy, product development, and editorial efforts.

This role is part of the Research and Insights team and will report directly to the Senior Research Manager, who leads research initiatives at POLITICO.

What You'll Do:

• Develop survey research projects to align with stakeholders' research objectives
• Draft/create survey instruments with minimal oversight
• Manage and monitor data collection processes
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify key patterns and insights
• Develop/present client-facing reports to effectively communicate research findings
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
• Manage engagement with POLITICO's proprietary research panel
• Maintain and improve research resources across teams

What You'll Need:

• Proficiency in the following:
  
  • Qualtrics (programming and distributing surveys, analyzing data, etc.)
  • Excel (cleaning and manipulating data, creating pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualizations)
  • PowerPoint (building visual presentations that effectively summarize project findings)
  • SPSS (creating variables, running CTABLES)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present structured information clearly
• 3+ years of professional experience with survey research methodologies
