Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a lead, you will guide a team of data engineers and work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure seamless data flow and high-quality data processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines using Python and Spark.
- Architect and optimize data storage solutions in Snowflake.
- Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure efficient data transformation.
- Oversee the deployment of data engineering solutions using Kubernetes and AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that support business objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers on best practices and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proven experience with Python, Snowflake, Spark, and Airflow.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data architecture principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
