Abbott is seeking a highly motivated Finance Supervisor to join our Finance team at the Lake Forest office. In this role, you will assist with financial operations, collaborating closely with the finance team and directly supporting the General Manager, National Sales Manager, Sales team and Distribution Center Site Director. You will play a key role in sales analytics, forecasting, business modeling, profitability analyses, and various ad-hoc reporting projects.
We are looking for a candidate who tackles projects with creativity and a service-oriented approach, prioritizing data-driven solutions. The ideal individual will have a keen analytical mind, excel at conveying complex ideas clearly, and possess a strong drive to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Work On
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in creating comprehensive monthly reporting packages for stakeholders, ensuring deliverables are consistent, accurate, and reliable
- Analyze monthly results against forecasts, budgets, and prior year data, identifying and documenting key business drivers behind variances
- Collaborate with various teams including commercial, logistics, finance, and business leaders to develop and maintain detailed quarterly financial forecasts
- Conduct revenue and profitability analysis at the product and customer levels
- Support demand planning and analysis through SKU-level forecasting
- Serve as the main finance contact for Portsmouth Distribution Center operations, responsible for forecasting, financial reporting, and managing capital authorization and expenditures
- Identify and track key performance metrics related to business operations, such as new customer acquisitions, product launches, value-based pricing, GMI and other benchmarks
- Analyze and monitor selling, general, and administrative expenses, along with associated headcount changes
- Track key balance sheet and cash flow metrics
- Support special projects and prepare ad-hoc analyses to aid strategic decision-making, such as business forecasting and profitability projections
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and reporting automation, including the use of Power BI Dashboards.
- Develop expertise in all financial-related systems and processes
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in organizing and interpreting large datasets, identifying trends, and summarizing findings clearly and concisely.
- Advanced Excel skills with proven experience in developing robust financial models.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a complex business environment
