Looking for a Temp Echo Tech in Coos Bay, OR to join the Ultrasound (Diagnostic) team. This position will provide medically relevant information to assist physicians with patient diagnosis and treatment.

Start Date: 4/1/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements
Education: Graduate of an approved Ultrasound training program (REQUIRED).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of sonographer experience (REQUIRED).
Specialty: Echo/Vascular (REQUIRED).
Certifications: Must hold at least one certification from one of the following:
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
BLS Certification (AHA) is required.
State License: Oregon state license required (must be willing to obtain).
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic sonography procedures under the supervision of the Radiology management team.
Work with healthcare providers to ensure accurate imaging and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Demonstrate proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation and report generation.
Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
Participate in stand-by/on-call rotation as required.
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members.
Duties
Perform echocardiograms and other ultrasound procedures to assess cardiac function and structure.
Collaborate with physicians to interpret diagnostic results and provide comprehensive reports.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during all imaging procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
Assist in the training of new staff members or interns in echocardiography techniques.
Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
Stay updated with advancements in echocardiography technology and practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $2,629.00 - $2,772.00 per week
