About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing complex business models in Argus to support strategic planning at the property level and managing partnership projects to ensure timely and accurate completion.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop complex business scenario models in Argus to support the annual and long-term strategic planning processes at the property level.
- Engage with partners and take full responsibility for partnership projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Develop and manage budgets for partnership properties at both micro and macro levels, guiding them through the approval process.
- Prepare, analyze, and develop financial reports for planning, forecasting, trending, and variance analysis against actual business performance.
- Conduct business, financial, and operational analyses to influence results and support senior-level decision-making.
- Analyze properties' profit and loss statements to improve management decision-making by identifying performance drivers and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide data on the achievement of financial objectives and analyze business issues and opportunities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly commentary, key company initiatives, business results, and analyses for senior management.
- Assist in the development of Financial Analysts through knowledge transfer, skills training, and other support as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
What you Bring:
- 3-5 years of experience with financial analysis in real estate
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or mathematics required.
- Proficient in Excel and Argus
- Experience with Yardi a plus
- Strategic and agile thinker with the ability to adapt to change
