Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to state laws, company policies, and ethical standards to ensure high-quality care.
- Continuously update skills through required Medicare, OSHA, and other continuing education initiatives.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to create customized treatment plans.
- Meticulously document treatment plans, patient progress, and other required reports with clarity and punctuality.
- Foster robust communication channels among staff, patients, and third-party payers to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Assist in team development and lead by example in both clinical and administrative functions.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- A degree from a CAPTE-accredited program is required.
- Valid state licensure as a physical therapist.
- Proven ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities like walking, standing, and reaching throughout the day.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical documentation and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Medicare, OSHA regulations, and other relevant healthcare compliance guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt treatments as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting regarded as a significant asset.
- Advanced certifications or specialization in areas such as orthopedics or neurology.
- Previous experience in developing patient care programs.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
- Experience working with diverse patient demographics.
