The Divisional Controllership Director reportsdirectly to the Aerospace Controller. The position will be responsible for working closely with the businessleadership of a Honeywell Aerospace Technologies division to ensure adherenceto US GAAP & Honeywell Policies while assisting the business in theaccounting and financial ramifications of business decisions and commercialdeals being negotiated. Additionally, theposition will develop and maintain subject matter expertise for various areasof US GAAP and Aerospace Industry practices. The role will also support Honeywell Aerospace in the implementation ofvarious corporate initiatives and special projects, which may include financetransformation, systems implementations, acquisition and divestiture projects.

The Divisional Controllership Director reportsdirectly to the Aerospace Controller. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, U.S. GAAP and statutory requirements
- Research technical accounting guidance for business-specific scenario analysis
- Collaborate with Divisional CFO's and business teams on structuring and interpreting key contract provisions for appropriate accounting treatment and value creating opportunities
- Assist in the management of the closing process, SOX, and external reporting requirements
- Conduct Balance Sheet Reviews and interact with external or internal auditors
- Design or improve processes to provide business finance leaders with better visibility into financial data trends, risks and other analytical insights
- Support special projects, strategic initiatives and implementation of new accounting standards
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; significant public accounting experience, CPA or equivalent
- 10+ total years of direct accounting experience in progressively responsible roles
- Expertise in technical accounting research, written communication/memorialization, and comfort making technical decisions based on changing or emerging facts & circumstances
- Comfort communicating to and interacting with business executives regarding critical matters
- Due to defense contract related work, must be a U.S. Citizen
