As a National Retail Senior Manager for Yardbird outdoor living, you'll be responsible for executing the strategic direction for all of Yardbird's retail operations including profitability, efficiency, and providing exceptional customer experience across all Yardbird sales environments. You will lead teams, collaborate on developing strategic plans, and manage budgets to ensure the company meets its goals. You will directly oversee 26 locations with 4 direct reports.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you'll do
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of regional managers and staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement retail sales strategies to drive market penetration and increase sales volume.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators, review retail stores' financial performance, and evaluate effectiveness of merchandise sales.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, such as marketing, customer experience, and operations, to achieve company goals.
Basic qualifications
- 5 years of multi-unit retail leadership at regional or district level
- 5 years of people leadership experience
Preferred qualifications
- 3 years of financial management experience
- 3 years of project management experience
- 3 years of retail home furnishings or boutique management experience
