Infosys is seeking a Mining Business Analyst. In this role, you will be working with the Business, IT, and Operational groups of large global mining companies. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. You will be required to have effective communication and analytical skills as part of a team that brings a structured approach and the ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within Los Angeles, CA or be willing to relocate to this location.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Experience with Business Analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and workflows within standard enterprise business applications as well as mining industry applications.
Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Gather, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations including requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
Assist in the implementation of new systems and processes ensuring they meet business requirements.
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and develop user manuals.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Support project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of mining-related projects.
Understanding of business processes and how IT can support them.
Ability to analyze processes, data, and systems.
Proficiency with various IT systems and software including data analysis tools.
Experience with waterfall and sprint-based methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams.
