Core4ce is looking to hire an instructional designer/training facilitator.
Responsibilities:
Training Facilitator
- Lead training sessions, in-person and/or online by using lectures, group discussions and hands-on activities to ensure everyone is engaged.
- Ability to identify students learning needs in instructional settings.
- Experience in developing goals and expectations from the start of training sessions and set the tone for the training throughout training sessions.
- Assist trainers with the logistics of the course needs and their preferences of running the training.
- Coordinate with Government Training Manager and Trainers for any updates and requirements for training purposes and be the liaison for any inquires, concerns and feedback of students.
Instructional Designer
- Defines clear learning objectives and creates compelling content.
- Interact with subject matter experts (SMEs) to collect information based on learners' needs.
- Create a detailed storyboard of how a course should look and which interactions it should include.
- Develop online courses with a tool for learning and skill building, and developing tests and assignments for performing knowledge checks and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Create supporting materials that include multimedia, e.g., audio, video, and screenshots. Differentiate between the types of learners that will benefit from the instruction from those who will have difficulty comprehending the materials and identify how the materials will be used in the curriculum.
- Recommend instructional strategies.
- Develop a needs assessment/analysis plan and collect relevant data.
- Identify discrepancies based on analysis of data collection.
- Recommend options to solve the discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education.
- Shall have a minimum of eight (8) years of specialized experience in curriculum design, however, bachelor's degree from an accredited university will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of specialized experience.
- NAVSEA Security Cooperation and FMS experience is desired.
- Experienced in adult learning and creating content utilizing technology.
- Able to use tools to create and deliver appealing learning materials and make training faster, easier and more effective.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Must be located within 100 miles of Washington, DC.
