Job Title: Director of Operations

Reports To: CEO

Position Overview: The Director of Operations will oversee and enhance the daily operations of our Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional client service. This leadership role involves managing operational teams, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic initiatives to foster the firm's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Direct daily business operations, including human resources, payroll, finance, client service and technology, aligning with the firm's strategic goals.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop the operations team, encompassing hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Compliance Oversight: Assist in developing and implementing the firm's compliance program, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and maintaining accurate compliance records.
  • Technology Management: Oversee the firm's technology infrastructure, including CRM systems and operational software, optimizing technology use to enhance efficiency and client service delivery.
  • Vendor and Budget Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, oversee budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with senior leadership to set the firm's strategic direction, providing operational insights and supporting business planning and growth initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in operations within the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role at an RIA firm.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in financial software and CRM systems; in-depth knowledge of financial operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Personal Attributes: Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, client-service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Compensation: Base salary $130-160K DOE, bonus, and full benefits package
