Hospice Sales Executive

We are seeking a dedicated Hospice Sales Executive to join our team, based in Austin and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a compassionate, high-energy professional with a strong background in sales and marketing within the healthcare sector, particularly in hospice or home health services. If you have a proven track record in establishing and nurturing beneficial relationships with healthcare providers and community partners, and are adept at promoting hospice programs and services, this position offers a lucrative opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of patients and families needing hospice care.

Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Engage with and develop strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, hospital staff, and nursing facility teams to promote hospice services.
  • Identify and target potential referral sources to broaden the outreach of hospice care services and increase patient admissions.
  • Organize and participate in community events and professional meetings to foster awareness and educate the community on the benefits of hospice services.
  • Implement and manage effective marketing strategies tailored to the local market needs and demographics.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hospice care regulations, trends, and competitor activities to effectively position our services.
  • Regularly meet and exceed set performance targets by effectively utilizing sales and marketing tools and techniques.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of successful experience in hospice and/or home health sales.
  • Local residency with established connections and networks in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and dynamics within the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in Contact Management software and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated independence in managing schedules and meeting targets in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of hospice care practices, regulations, and reimbursement processes.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns specific to hospice or medical services.
  • Documented history of surpassing sales quotas and exceptional performance in previous roles.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex negotiations.
  • Strong ethical foundation with a compassionate approach to patient care and end-of-life issues.
