We are a growing small to mid-size business specializing in the distribution and support of medical equipment to federal agencies. Our clients include the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and other federal healthcare systems. Position Overview: In addition to overseeing existing sales efforts, we are looking for a candidate who can generate new revenue streams and focus on growing the business from the bottom line. This position requires a proactive leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for scaling growth.We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Business Development / Sales Manager with experience in federal government contracting. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, expanding relationships with key federal buyers and prime contractors, and driving revenue through targeted sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with federal agencies (VA, DOD, HHS, etc.).
  • Manage the full federal sales lifecycle from market research to contract award.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities through sources such as SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, and industry networks.
  • Lead proposal efforts and support pricing strategies in coordination with finance and compliance teams.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with procurement officers, contracting officers, and industry partners.
  • Represent the company at government contracting events, conferences, and capability briefings.
  • Track KPIs and provide regular reports on pipeline, revenue forecasts, and win rates.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (logistics, finance, compliance) to ensure seamless contract execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date on trends in medical equipment, federal procurement policies, and competitor activity.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field.
  • 5+ years of B2G (business-to-government) sales experience, ideally in medical equipment, healthcare services, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of federal procurement processes and vehicles (GSA, VA FSS, IDIQs, etc.).
  • Strong working knowledge of SAM.gov, FPDS, GovWin, or similar tools.
  • Proven track record of winning contracts and building sustainable pipelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Compensation:
  • $115,000 - $160,000+ (total comp)

Work Hours:
  • Monday to Friday 8a to 4:30p
