Expedia Group is seeking an experienced, multi-faceted Senior Executive Assistant to support to multiple executives within Marketing on the Traveler Engagement and Loyalty team. Our business is global, and our industry is rapidly changing, requiring our teams to be innovative and adapt quickly to a wide variety of business challenges.
You should be self-driven, work quickly, accurately, and have a passion for travel. You'll manage detailed calendars for both your executive and team, set travel itineraries (including international), meeting coordination, expensing and special events. Such support will require a high-level of discretion and will impact significant matters. In addition to this work, we are looking for someone who will be a strong partner to our executives and their teams.

Please note that this role is only available in Seattle or Austin and in alignment with our flexible work model which requires employees to be in-office at least three days a week. We are unable to offer relocation assistance for this role.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

In this role, you will:
- Responds to multiple complex information requests
- Balances several projects and tasks simultaneously with minimal error while meeting urgent deadlines, remaining organized and focused in a multi-dynamic environment.
- Demonstrates and appreciates concise and direct communications
- Manages and maintains calendars; takes a proactive forward planning approach to diary management. Is comfortable with a global team optimizing across multiple time zones
- Drives time management for the executive(s) by ensuring focus on strategic business initiatives.
- Considers all stakeholders' time commitments in creating schedules and planning meetings.
- Keeps ahead of potential scheduling conflicts; using initiative to find solutions and communicate changes in a timely manner.
- Arranges travel, books accommodation, proactively informs travel and expense policies.
- Leads planning for team events both onsite and offsite including catering, room setup, managing expenses, and room planning.
- Manages group calendar for team.
- Tracks deadlines of multiple workstreams and follows up with team members to ensure deadlines are successfully met.
- Understands and complies with processes and uses appropriate tools for filing, archiving or disposing of information after distributing it.
- Participates in preparation for key meetings, preparing papers and taking minutes and following up actions as required on a selective basis
- Builds relationships at all levels across the business and with external contacts.
- Knows and uses formal and informal channels to achieve faster work results for the team.
- Consistently displays an outstanding degree of involvement and engagement.
- Processes expenses, handles vendor set-up and corporate credit card reconciliation.
- Tracks use of discretionary budget for supported departments and ensures others report and submit expenses in a timely manner
Experience and qualifications:
- 10 - 12 years of related experience
- Experience plus advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,), strong editing/proofreading skills
- Exceptional verbal, written and organizational skills are required
- A can-do attitude and the ability to prioritize a demanding workload while maintaining a sense of humor will also be important qualities to ensure success in this position
- Able to work in a high-tech environment, as well as a real passion for online travel is all needed
- The ability to be flexible and pivot priorities, when needed, is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with tact, poise and excellent social skills
- A desire to be dedicated as well as be discreet, multi-task, and work independently is mandatory
- Experience working with a team of admins including team coordination for events and meetings is a plus
- A college degree or applicable work experience is preferred
