Job Summary:
  • Provide direct therapy services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in family and caregiver education to support patient progress and generalization of skills.
  • Engage in regular supervisory meetings and feedback sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
  • Contribute to team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations for children ages birth to 18 with various diagnoses, including autism, expressive and receptive language delay, phonological disorders, fluency, social skills difficulties, etc.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.

Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure
    or
  • Eligibility for or current possession of a Clinical Fellowship (CF) Certificate & eligibility for provisional state licensure.
  • Strong clinical skills in the treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to organize and complete all documentation promptly.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.

Preferred qualities:
  • Experience working with augmentative communication devices.
  • Experience working with feeding challenges.
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if necessary).
  • 2+ years' experience

Compensation & Benefits:
  • The hourly range for an SLP in this position is $40 to $55, depending on experience level and time spent providing direct patient care. The hourly range for an SLP Clinical Fellow in this position is $29 to $47.
  • PTO accrued based on the hours worked during each pay period.

  • Employee-sponsored health insurance is available to part-time employees working less than 32 hours per week on average. Employer-sponsored health insurance plans are available to full-time employees working an average of 32 hours a week or more.
