Westminster Communities of Florida, a nationally recognized not-for-profit faith based organization, is searching for a highly qualified Director of Rehabilitation Services. This role assists the VP of Rehabilitation and Clinical Services with supporting the goals of the Clinical/Rehab department. Responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic growth, operational excellence, and clinical quality of our inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs. This role will focus on expanding the number of programs, increasing patient volume, enhancing service offerings, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The director will cultivate strong relationships with referral sources and develop innovative programs to meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to expand the footprint of outpatient rehabilitation programs. Assist with outpatient licensure and therapy certification.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for opening new programs, including market analysis, site selection, and partnership development, to include targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Drive initiatives to increase patient referrals, enhance client retention, and maximize program utilization, in addition to expanding service offerings in response to market demand and emerging trends.
  • Manages and directs Therapy Program Managers in the provision of program services to residents.
  • Assures rehabilitation programs meet clinical, budgetary, utilization and quality standards.
  • Acts as Interim Therapy Program Manager in the Therapy department in the event of staff shortage.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and patient-centered care within the clinics.
  • Assist in therapy management duties by carrying out delegated selected duties under the supervision of the VP of Rehabilitation and Clinical Services
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of clinical and administrative professionals. Provide regular coaching, training, and professional development opportunities for staff.


  • Essential Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology or other clinical professional services preferred.
    • Current licensure by the Board of Allied Professions required.
    • Current membership in professional organizations at the state and national level preferred.
    • Five (5) years of clinical experience required.
    • Five (5) years of supervisory experience with multi-disciplines preferred.
    • Experience in Outpatient Therapy Management preferred
    • Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
