Job Description

The Associate Director ensures the fiscal responsibility and quality control of their client media investments. They manage the day-to-day team workload, plans and coordinate projects and can be adaptable to the ever-changing needs of the marketplace. The goal for this role is to support client investment initiatives and help develop and maintain PHM partnerships.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge
Strong understanding of how the agency works and how jobs flow throughout
Strong understanding of client's business and goals
Understanding of how client business objectives translate into media investment and management strategies
Strong understanding of the investment process
Strong understanding of the overall media marketplace and partner landscape
Firm understanding of partnership opportunities, deals and terms
Strong understanding of agency Terms + Conditions and media partner contracting process
Strong understanding of agency investment tools
Firm understanding of partner invoice portals

Day-to-Day
Oversees the daily execution of Investment Management team tasks
Responsible for managing timely delivery of team projects and tasks
Consulted for partner contractual needs, such as IO notes, SOWs, etc...
Advances best practices in investment process, efficiencies, etc..
Responsible partner payment mitigation and resolution
Responsible for Marketplace Position reporting
Responsible for execution of ad hoc projects

Internal + External Relationships
Responsible for developing talent, delegating appropriately, and ensuring teams are working smoothly
Responsible for managing and prioritizing team assignments
Provides clear, regular communication regarding client and project goals, prioritization and measures of success to all key stakeholders
Fosters a positive work environment
Provides expertise and shares knowledge with junior team members
Delivers constructive, actionable feedback to team
Begins to develop working relationships with client contacts as necessary
Continues to develop relationships with key media partners
Collaborates internally with leadership across capabilities and teams
Continues to develop relationships with key Groupe teams, such as ReSources and Business Operations
Able to navigate proper support for Investment systems and tools
Contributes to new business efforts as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years media planning or buying experience
  • 1-2+ years management experience
  • 1-2+ years recent years of experience in media investment systems and tools (Mediaocean, etc...)
  • Optional: HCP/Pharma experience

Compensation Range: $95,000 - $105,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
