Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company, is seeking a Senior Client Management Consultant to manage delivery of services to Optavise's Benefits Governance and Compliance Communications clients through leadership of complex projects and creating long-term, trusted client relationships. This role is responsible for managing both the client and Optavise teams through all phases of service delivery, from kickoff and implementation through ongoing services, including acting as the lead point of contact with the client for all services post-sale. The Sr Client Management Consultant builds strong relationships with external stakeholders by managing high value project plans, maintaining regularly recurring meetings, aligning on near- and long-term client strategy, as well immediate operational deliverables.

Pay Range: $87,400.00 - $131,000.00 Annual

As a Senior Client Management Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Own primary accountability for project deliverables and client satisfaction of Optavise service delivery for large, complex, and multi-solution projects, ensuring that Optavise delivery aligns with the Statement of Work.
- Create and manage project plans, including deliverables, tasks, milestones, resources, and timeline.
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients, responding to questions and ensuring completion of Optavise deliverables. Anticipate and prevent issues through proactive client expectation and workload management. Provide best practice guidance and consultative feedback to clients.
- Lead regular client and internal project team meetings for discovery, planning and project status purposes. Organize and manage client working sessions as needed to complete discovery and requirement gathering phases of a project or facilitate agreement on open issues. Identify, understand and work through roadblocks to adoption as well as short term and long-term solutions.
- Direct internal cross-functional teams to achieve project deliverables and solve problems. Manage resource requirements with competing demands on large/complex sized projects. Serve as the primary escalation point for internal project teams on client services. Promote and facilitate communication to managers and resolve internal service expectations, updating all stakeholders of project timelines and deliverables.
- Apply industry knowledge to understand client needs and, working with the technical team, develop an implementation or sustaining operations plan to meet those needs. Apply benefit program, operational, and technological expertise to work through ambiguous situations to meet client requirements.
- Partner closely with Account Manager to drive client satisfaction, retention, reference-ability, and identify opportunities for growth. Work closely with the Account Manager on contract renewals, including scoping, updating statements of work, drafting change orders, developing pricing and margin analysis.
The Senior Client Management Consultant position is well-suited for someone with:
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Strong ability to deliver on large and complex projects simultaneously, and ability to adapt quickly to changing or competing priorities.
- In-depth health and welfare employee benefits industry expertise and ability to leverage that expertise in client situations.
- Strong knowledge of managing employee benefits and technology-focused projects.
- Ability to build or reset client and team relationships in a positive manner.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and in-person communication skills.
- Strong ability to create presentations to provide clarity and understanding of program and project related information.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of related professional experience
- 7 years of experience managing large, complex client projects
- 3 years of experience managing multiple simultaneous projects or clients
- 5 years of employee H&W benefits experience
What will set you apart:
- PMP and/or CEBS
- 7+ years of experience managing large, complex client projects; 5 years of experience in employee benefits consulting.
- Demonstrated experience working with Fortune 500 companies Benefits/HR teams.
- 2 years of experience managing cross functional, virtual project teams in a matrixed reporting environment.
