We're seeking a Lead Generation Manager to own and optimize our pay-per-lead (PPL) and lead acquisition programs. Unlike a traditional demand generation role focused on holistic campaign strategy, this role is laser-focused on lead quality, cost-efficiency, and conversion readiness.
You'll manage performance-based lead channels such as Prospect Path, Software Advice, Capterra, and others. Your day-to-day will revolve around evaluating lead source performance, refining bidding strategies, optimizing vendor relationships, and aligning tightly with sales to improve close rates.
This role is perfect for someone who's hands-on with lead acquisition platforms, thrives in performance marketing environments, and knows how to turn paid leads into pipeline.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...
Lead Acquisition and Optimization
- Own and manage all pay-per-lead (PPL) sources (e.g., Prospect Path, Software Advice, Capterra).
- Execute bidding strategies to maximize return on lead spend.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on CPL, lead quality, and conversion metrics.
- Decide where and when to allocate budget based on real-time performance data.
Lead Qualification and Funnel Progression
- Evaluate incoming leads for fit and intent, leveraging internal criteria and sales feedback.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to build automated email nurturing sequences and progressive profiling workflows.
- Maintain visibility into lead funnel stages-from acquisition through sales qualification.
Lead Vendor and Marketplace Management
- Manage lead generation program with targeted Azalea Health's marketplace partners.
- Work directly with vendors to ensure listings and targeting are up to date and high-performing.
- Continuously research and test new lead-gen platforms to expand reach and diversify acquisition channels.
Sales Collaboration and Feedback Loops
- Align with Sales leadership to understand which lead sources, messaging, and attributes convert best.
- Act as a conduit between sales and marketing by sharing real-time lead performance insights.
- Ensure a smooth handoff process and high accountability for lead follow-up and progression.
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING...
- Tactical and results-oriented, with experience managing PPL and CPL programs.
- Passionate about lead funnel performance, cost-efficiency, and campaign-level ROI.
- Strong collaborator who thrives in roles that sit between sales and marketing.
- Comfortable making fast, data-informed decisions that directly impact pipeline.
- 3+ years of experience in lead generation, performance marketing, or acquisition-focused roles.
- Hands-on experience with PPL platforms like Software Advice, Capterra, or Prospect Path.
- Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred).
- Bonus: Experience in healthcare or B2B SaaS.
