Position Summary
The HR Analytics and Reporting team at CVS Health leads the organization's understanding of workforce insights and organizational health. We evaluate talent and culture information to make evidence-based decisions and create a stronger workplace experience. Our team uncovers holistic data-driven business opportunities across the talent lifecycle to enable transformational change and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is responsible for end-to-end problem-solving and communication on workplace insights: diagnosis, integration and transformation, analysis, visualization, and presentation. They possess strong quantitative skills, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and can communicate effectively to a wide-ranging audience.
Consulting with HR partners and business leaders to understand their unique challenges and provide strategic decision support through data and analytics
Applying knowledge in quantitative and qualitative analysis, as well as data visualization, to create clear and compelling narratives that inform business strategies
Distilling key findings into visually appealing, insightful, and concise presentations for senior management including the CEO and the Board of Directors
Collaborating closely within HR to automate data pipelines, drive self-service access, and deploy powerful, interactive data visualizations to be consumed by different parts of the business
Data savvy - Be comfortable in querying large datasets, with the ability to help manipulate and construct the right data structures starting with the end in mind
Data experimentation - Eager to learn and/or challenge existing data architecture and apply innovative tools to improve delivered data insights.
In order to be successful in this role you must exhibit the following:
Strong data visualization skills, preferably with Tableau or Power BI, or able to demonstrate transferability from other platforms. Preferably in a HR setting.
Data set creation skills including the ability to combine and clean large data sets, preferably with Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or similar tools.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of relevant data science and business experience.
Demonstration of BI development in Tableau, Power BI, or a similar tool through examples or a portfolio of work.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages (proficient experience with Python, R, SAS, and/or SQL)
Knowledge of HR business systems (HCM, ATS, Workday experience a plus)
Experience working in a data warehouse or data lake environment (GCP or Snowflake experience a plus)
Education
Bachelors or equivalent experience (Masters preferred)

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
