IT Specialist SYSADMIN with Security Clearance

Position Description Responsible for maintenance, support, system design, automation and disaster recovery of organizational computer systems ensuring compliance with applicable JSIG standards. Perform work related to multiple platforms, virtualization, databases, and applications, including Windows 2016/2019 Server, Unix/Linux, scripting languages, PowerShell, and legacy systems and applications. Perform system hardening to include applications, operating system, firmware, databases and network Manage accounts, network rights and access to systems and equipment Manage system/server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, recoverability Configure and Manage network switches Configure and maintain computer clusters including highly available, load balancing and high performance computing Maintain technical safeguards on all Information Systems Resolve customer issues in a timely manner Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems. Maintain system architecture diagram, hardware inventory and software inventory accuracy within a 30-day threshold. Provide guidance to team members, agencies and leadership. Train team members or update/maintain training materials or deskbooks. Integrate DOD cybersecurity policies and guidelines during the development of cybersecurity frameworks supporting mission efforts.
