Production Worker- Howmet with Security Clearance

Position Purpose: To aid in the manufacturing of goods in an assembly line and/or individually. Assembles or disassembles component pieces of a variety of items manufactured or de-manufactured. Organizes and assures high quality and high quantity work. Operates and maintains equipment used in the performance of work in a safe manner and according to instructions. Primary Duties: Assembling products and parts Following production guidelines and specifications Finalize and package products for shipment Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment Monitor the assembly line and remove faulty products Work on the production line to meet production targets Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure production quotas and deadlines are met Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality Conduct inspections and quality control of products Assist with lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads Assembles and disassembles items at established rates Maintain a clean work area and equipment Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management Follow all written and verbal instructions provided by supervisor Monitors materials flowing through the production process Must remain current on all safety and production trainings Promote a positive and professional environment Communicates appropriately VersAbility Resources Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.
