Description Senior Information System Security Specialist or Information System Security Specialist III Position Summary Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Senior Information System Security Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring cybersecurity and compliance of information systems supporting the Department of the Navy (DON). Contingent upon award, this position requires expertise in cybersecurity engineering, test and evaluation (T&E), and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes, along with proficiency in tools such as Database Management System (DADMS), DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR)-DON, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM). The candidate must also meet Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III qualifications. Requirements Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage A&A processes to ensure systems comply with DoD RMF and other federal cybersecurity standards. * Use eMASS to document system controls, track compliance, and generate security reports. * Utilize VRAM for identifying, tracking, and remediating vulnerabilities across information systems. * Oversee and update system records in DADMS and DITPR-DON to ensure accurate data reporting. * Support risk assessments and deliver recommendations to mitigate security risks. * Conduct and document cybersecurity testing and evaluation (T&E) activities to validate compliance with security requirements. * Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior cybersecurity team members. Required Qualifications * Active Secret clearance (required) * Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Test and Evaluation (T&E), or Assessment and Authorization (A&A). * Bachelor's degree in in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field. * Proficiency in the following tools and systems: Database Management System (DADMS), DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR)-DON, Configuration Management Professional (CMPro), Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM). * Meets IAM Level III certification requirements. * Strong understanding of DoD RMF, cybersecurity policies, and standards. * Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale cybersecurity projects and ensure regulatory compliance. * Experience working with Navy or DoD cybersecurity programs strongly desired. * CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications desired. * Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
