Assembler 2 with Security Clearance

* Construct assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, wiring harnesses, cables, etc. in single or production quantities from mechanical drawings. * Testing and verification of the parts against the drawings. * The Assembler shall have certifications (such as NASA) as required by the particular Technical Task Order or engineering drawings. * Works from detail configuration drawings, wire lists, and cable rundown lists for proper inter-system equipment connections. * Tailors and fabricates cable assemblies as required. * Installs cable assemblies using standard written and generally accepted techniques including the provision for cable service loops and for proper cable routing. * Uses hand tools and portable power tools, as required, to perform wire-wrap and terminal connection installation. * Performs other related duties, as required. * Uses general-purpose visual and audible testing instruments to verify correctness of work. * Assists other higher-level assemblers and engineering personnel in the performance of their work, consistent with own background and training. * High School Diploma or GED. * Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
