Transition Manager with Security Clearance

Overview/ Job Responsibilities Sev1Tech is looking for a Transition Manager to assist our customer in a major contract transition, consolidating two existing large contracts invoving NOC, SOC, and Program Management services performed nationwide. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Develop a draft contract Transition Strategy and Plan * Review the draft contract Transition Strategy and Plan with customers and make necessary modificaitons * Plan and conduct Transition Kickoff Meeting * Plan and oversee knowledge discovery and knowledge transfer sessions * Conduct daily internal transition status meetings * Conduct weekly transition status meetings with the outgoing contractors and the customer * Ensure documentation and management of transition progress and risks * In tandem with the Senior Program Manager and HR, plan and execute recruiting, hiring, and ramp up of contract staff * In tandem with the Senior Program Manager, oversee and execute a contract orientation for staff * Manage the transition schedule * Submit Transition Status Reports * Ensure preparedness for Operational Readiness Reviews * Facilitate cutovers from outgoing contractors Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree * Ten (10 plus) years of experience in managing and delivering IT programs in government, industry, or both * Experience transitioning large IT programs, in particular focused on IT infrastructure including network * Strong planning and management oversight capabilities * Abillity to develop schedules with many dependencies, and manage execution to those schedules * Effective overseeing multiple tasks and teams performing concurrently * Successful experience identifying and obtaining the right contractor staff in a timely manner * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with customers and corporate staff * Track record of timely reporting of risks and progress * Experience with documentation and knowledge management * Ability to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship in order to be able to obtain DHS Public Trust Desired Qualifications * DHS experience * PMP certification or equivalent About Sev1Tech LLC Welcome to Sev1Tech!
