Job Description Ind.Nurse Now Hiring: RN Educator Position: RN Group Educator (One-day events, up to 52 events per year) Location: Polacca VA Clinic, Polacca, AZ Job Type: Part-time About Us: We are a dynamic healthcare organization dedicated to improving the well-being of our patients. Responsibilities: * Conduct group and individual patient health education sessions
* Cover a range of topics including tobacco cessation, alcohol/substance abuse education, mental health, diabetes education, nutrition, lifestyle choices, high blood pressure management, cardiovascular wellness, and women's health wellness
* Engage participants with interactive and informative presentations
* Provide support and guidance to individuals seeking health education
Job Requirements: * Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
* Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a health educator
* BLS certification
Requirements: * Registered Nurse (RN) license
* Experience in group education and patient interaction
* Knowledge of health education topics listed above
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse audiences
* CPR certification (preferred)
