Description:


* Assist HWSTF manager with work schedule
* Provide technical support to HWSTF employees and customers
* Monitor monthly supply and materials inventory
* Assist with training for HWSTF employees, as necessary
* Assist HWSTF Manager with Navy site visits and regulatory inspections
* Monitor completion of daily/weekly facility inspections and HWSTF inventory
* Monitor completion of delivery orders for off-Station shipments of HW by the HW contractor
* Monitor preparation of shipping documentation for off-Station movement of HW and the actual off-Station shipment of HW
* Perform duties in the field independently, without supervision, either leading crew members in various tasks or by themselves to ensure contract compliance
* Monitor completion of EPA and Navy annual and biennial reports for HW generation
* Monitor direct shipment of HW from customer sites
* Assist HWSTF Manager in completion of HW pickups, acceptance of HW at the HWSTF, confirmation and classification, storage, processing (e.g., lab packing), and shipping
* Make and Update profiles in government Database for review by government
* Track returned manifest from off base shipment
* Perform housekeeping and maintenance of the HWSTF
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma
* Five years of experience in HW administrative/production work tasks. Less than five years may be acceptable if work experience and training is commiserate with a minimum of 5 years work experience
* Completion of 40 hour HAZWOPR course (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120)
* Completion of California Hazardous Waste Management(40 CFR 262.17 and 22 CCR 66262.34 and 66265.16)
* Completion Of RCRA Hazardous Waste Management 40 CFR 262.17(a)(7)
* Current medical examination will be required
* Preferred, but not initially required:
* CA commercial Class B driver's license with Hazardous Material, Tanker and Air Brakes endorsement
* Government license material handling equipment for forklift
