Description:
JOB OVERVIEW: The General Maintenance Worker repairs building structures and mechanical, electrical and sanitary systems, and performs general maintenance on machinery. Perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such tasks as carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, masonry, electrical, or plumbing activities
Operate gardening and grounds care equipment as required
Perform operator maintenance on all equipment used in the execution of duties and report higher echelon maintenance requirements to appropriate personnel
Assist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance, as required
Work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays
Work overtime as required SIGN ON BONUS: K2 Solutions is offering a $1000 hiring bonus at the 90 and 365 day successful duty performance. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a current state and Government Drivers License
Experience performing general maintenance of buildings and equipment.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions up to 75% of the workday.
Must be able to climb ladders potentially as high as a two-story building.
Be available to work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays.
Be available to work overtime as required.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
