JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN II (ELECTII) DEPARTMENT: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATIONS REPORTS TO: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATION SUPERVISOR CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT STATUS: FULL-TIME Job Summary: Under indirect supervision, responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations. Duties/Responsibilities: * Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after production. * Install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components * Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments. * Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, in accordance with (IAW) electrical drawings/schematics.
* Set up and operate test equipment.
* Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
* Ability to understand Redline processes while working closely with supervisor. * Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, IAW the electrical Drawing /schematics. * Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS * High School diploma or equivalent.
* 2-5 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information. * Attention to detail. * Ability to obtain security clearance.
* Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.
* Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
Preferred Requirements: * Must have knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A 620 certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
* Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
* Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
* Ability to traverse manufacturing facility
