CNC Machinist with Security Clearance

Description:
Position: CNC Machinist Specific Job Duties shall include but not be limited to: * Operates and maintains lathe [EMCO MAXXTURN 95 (Sinumeric 840D SL with Shopturn)]Mand milling machine [EMCOMILL 1800, Vertical Mill Center (Heidenhain TNC 620)]. (Familiarity with Philips-Hass CNC machinery a plus. Will train the right individual.)
* Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
* Assist engineers in the design of fixturing and offer suggestions for assembly processes.
* Ability to work with engineering staff to manufacture special-purpose tools and fixtures to produce our products.
* Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
* Ability to read blueprints and work with CAD drawings and from verbal instructions/rudimentary sketches
* Using horizontal and vertical band saws, belt/disc sanders, rotary grinders, and buffers
* Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
* Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
* Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
* Maintains inventory of completed products.
* Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
* Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
* Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Qualifications * Proficient in CNC machining and operation, including CNC lathe and precision measuring instruments.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations.
* Familiarity with CAD software and experience in manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of premium skills such as Mazatrol, CNC programming, and GD&T is a plus.
* Experience with relevant tools including bore gauges, hand tools, and tooling. Employment with Massa Product Corporation may require an individual to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
