Description:
MULTIPLE SHIFTS Monday through Thursday - 4x10 1ST shift 5:00am-3:30pm 2nd shift 4:12pm-2:42am Day-to-day tasks maintaining an aerospace production line
Lays out, fabricates and assembles a variety of standard and nonstandard major jigs, fixtures, tool masters, master tooling gauges, and related tooling involving compound angels and complex contours where the establishment and coordination to exacting tolerances of numerous tooling holes and reference points between several planes are required. Plans work to be performed and determines methods and sequence of operations working from tool design drawings or own designs. Sets up and operates optical instruments to check overall and detailed alignment, fit, or adjustment of assemblies. Develops and designs holding devices and jig and fixture details. Prepares operational sequences and shop drawings covering parts fabrication and assembly to be performed by others. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in tool making and/or relatable experience (Level 3)
. Minimum of High School Diploma/and 2+ years experience (Level 1)
Experience with fabrication, hand tools and machines (saws, drill, mill and lathe) basic hand tools,
Microsoft office suite, must have Jig and fixture/ Tool building experience, laser tracker
Machine shop experience, Verisurf, Mastercam
Aircraft Structures experience Good Communication, self-starter, problem solver, positive attitude, safety minded, ability to lift 50lbs
