Sergeant with Security Clearance

Summary The Sergeant will supervise teams of armed guards and will ensure all contract requirements are adhered to. Responsibilities * Administers instructions to security personnel assigned to the site and assures that all officers are familiar with the facility and their duties. * Manages the staffing of posts at the site to ensure complete coverage. This includes, but is not limited to, coverage for vacations, illness, and call-offs. * Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Armed Security Guard certification through DCJS. * A minimum of three years' experience as an armed security guard, or police officer. * No less than one year of prior supervisory experience. * Active Secret clearance. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross. * Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by customer. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. * Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
