Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a POTENTIAL opportunity for a civilian LPN/LVN for PACT & Speciality Clinics at the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC Charleston, SC. Postition offers: * Full-time opportunity | 40 hours per week * Outpatient setting * Full complement of benefits to include medical, dental, vision & 401K * Two weeks paid time off annually * 11 paid Federal Holidays Job Requirements: * Degree/Education: Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by a state agency or accredited by the ACEN * Experience: A minimum of 24 months of experience in an outpatient acute care (hospital based), or ambulatory care setting within the last 24 months. * Active, unrestricted nursing license in any state
* BLS/ACLS from the American Heart Association Duties: * Contractor nurses may be utilized as needed in the Acute Care Medical/Surgical areas, in ambulatory/outpatient care clinics, and outpatient lab * Knowledge and skill sufficient to prepare, administer, and appropriately document actions taken specific to commonly prescribed oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and/or intravenous medications as permitted by approved local facility policies and procedures.
