Program Overview The program, led by Peraton Labs with external infrastructure support, conducts advanced research for the customer on a variety of topics, including cybersecurity, RF solutions, and quantum communications. Mission focus is on developing next-gen tools for detecting cyber-attacks, enhancing network resilience, and improving small-form factor sensor systems while maintaining a focus on cutting-edge technologies like machine learning and software-defined networking. About The Role Peraton Labs is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Research Scientist to join our team supporting fully cleared research efforts for our Maryland customer. You will work on cutting-edge research and development projects in a collaborative and innovative team environment and will be instrumental in solving the most complex challenges in a broad range of initiatives in computer network defense, secure-by-design techniques, and cyber operations and experimentation platforms. Your expertise and areas of interest may be applied on one or more programs, providing you numerous opportunities to learn and grow. This position will require on-site work at our College Park, MD or Laurel, MD locations. Qualifications This position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years with a MS/MA; 3 years with a Ph.D. Required Qualifications * Experience developing, implementing, and analyzing signal processing and wireless communication techniques in Python, C/C++, and Matlab.
* Strong written and spoken communications/presentation skills.
* U.S. Citizenship is required
* Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearanceDesired Qualifications * Familiarity with multiple-antenna or distributed signal processing techniques#MDPM SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
