Skybridge Aviation is hiring a sheet metal mechanic with a secret clearance located in Centennial, CO. The Sheet Metal Mechanic will be responsible for sheet metal repair and modification on government aircraft and interpreting engineering diagrams as necessary. Description
Sheetmetal repair and modification on government aircraft
Disassemble, modify, repair, and reassemble complex aircraft metal items and systems, e.g., bulkheads, airframes spars, air scoops, wings, flaps, pylons, sponsons, fuselages, skins, ribs, gussets.
All work accomplished with applicable technical documentation and engineering blueprints.
Drill, locate, modify, and install prepared modification kits per customer requirements and within all applicable regulatory guidelines (military and FAA).
Repair and replace as necessary all green-aircraft components and/or skins, stringers, doublers and other structural items that may be damaged before, during or after installation of modification to aircraft. Qualifications
Active secret clearance
At least 4 plus years experience as an aviation sheet metal mechanic
Tools required and need to be shadowed and engraved before you start
Repair and modification on government aircraft preferred
Proof of US citizenship
Valid US drivers license
Ability to submit to a standard DOT drug test, and 10-year criminal background check Pay for the position ranges from $40-$45 an hour (depending on years of experience).
Shifts will be 4x10s with a per diem split available if you qualify.
