Configuration Manager, Senior GBQ.022 with Security Clearance

Torch Technologies is seeking a Configuration Management Senior located at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL, within the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), to support The Agile Support Office. First, the Agile Support Office is working to identify and document the technical/operational baseline for all BES programs and standardize and optimize how BES programs establish and use technical environments and supporting infrastructures to assist program teams in delivering high-confidence programs. Responsibilities: This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in configuration management to include but not limited to the duties below: * Atlassian Toolset experience: * Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket * Proven expertise in Jira configuration, including workflows, screens, custom fields, and plugins * Experience with Confluence configuration, including space management, content organization, and templates * Familiarity with Bitbucket configuration, including repository management, branching and permissions * Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, including senior leadership, technical teams, and governance bodies * Documenting and communicating technical and governance outcomes clearly and concisely * Team collaboration skills; working across departments and with Capability Delivery Teams (CDTs) * Source control tools and methodologies (Git, Bitbucket) * Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ITIL/ITSM frameworks * Version control, change management and auditing processes * Ability to develop and enforce configuration management policies and standards * Experience driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity Job Requirements Required Qualifications: * Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD * OR, Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD * OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications eight of which must be in the DoD. * Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold active DoD Security Clearance (Secret) * Must have active/current DoDI 8140.03 Certification, work role ID: 806 Preferred Qualifications: * Atlassian Tool Suite * Agile Development Methodologies * Confluence * BitBucket * Information System Management Tool (ISMT) * CompTIA Security + CE - Preferred * Knowledge of agile methodologies and how they apply to Atlassian tools * Experience integrating the Atlassian toolset with other enterprise tools * Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) * Solid understanding of EKS (Elastic Container Service for Kubernates) and ELJ stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) * Basic understanding of containerization experience with AWS ECS Fargate * Previous experience working on DoD installations Preferred Certifications: * Atlasssian certifications, such as ACP-100 (Jira Administrator) or ACP-120 (Confluence Administrator) * AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator * ITIL Foundation certification U.S. Citizenship Required for this Position: Yes Job Type: Full Time Security Clearance: Tier 3/Secret Schedule: Customers discretion Work Location: Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex Travel: Relocation Assistance Available: No Position Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No Benefits: Torch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match and safe-harbor contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.
