Application Developer with Security Clearance

Overview Position Overview: VTG is seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to enhance our existing technical team supporting the enhancement, O&M and compliance of existing applications hosted in a AWS environment. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, innovative professional and will contribute to a team environment. The candidate will be part of a team that supports the cloud infrastructure for an enterprise environment. This position requires a broad knowledge of system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting. This position also requires a knowledge of security and accreditation practices and procedures the ability to work with several enterprise resources and teams in the operation of an enterprise digitization infrastructure. What will you do? * Must have hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment. * Experience patching and maintaining system's databases, to include RDS, MySQL, and Oracle * Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems * Knowledge of Federated Identity, authentication & authorization solutions. * Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (e.g., CloudTrail, AWS Config), cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and Access Control (IAM). * Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.) * Experience with security, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security. * Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment Do you have what it takes? * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. * Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalency in related work experience * Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator. * Experience using a scripting language. * Demonstrated ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, to include: installing, starting, and stopping background processes, analyzing log and event files, and patching and troubleshooting. * Demonstrated ability creating and managing a virtual infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare.
