Description:

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to Lead a Security Operations Center for a Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting a US Government customer. We are seeking someone who has previously worked on a Service Desk, preferably one focusing on cybersecurity concerns, and desires to further specialize in the field of cybersecurity. Within this team you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of subject matter experts covering the full breadth of cybersecurity and learn from their expertise. The selected candidates will primarily be responsible for serving as Tier 2 customer service for a range of security incidents, providing the following support: * Serve as escalation from other Team Members for difficult customers. * Manage workloads and queues for team members to ensure equal distribution of tickets. * Field calls from systems administrators who are attempting to resolve cybersecurity concerns (e.g. problems with application of STIG, IAVM) * Respond to inquiries regarding ACAS Scan Results * Perform initial review of event and incident logs to gather information on suspected incidents and perform triage. Clearance Level * Secret Education * Bachelors Degree (additional years of experience can be substituted for a degree) Certifications (IAT Level II) * Microsoft MCSA or equivalent training -AND- one of the following (or a certification from a higher IAT level): * Cisco Certified Network Associate - Security (CCNA Security)
* CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CompTIA CySA+ CE)
* GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GIAC GICSP)
* CompTIA Security+ CE
* GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
* EC-Council Certified Network Defender (EC-Council CND)
* GIAC System Security Certified Practitioner (GIAC SSCP) Required Skills * 4+ years of experience with a service desk environment Desired Skills * Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
* HDI-CSR or other Customer Service Certification
