Our work depends on a Linux/AWS System Administrator joining our team to support a GDIT program that we are the prime on and is located at Annapolis Junction, MD. ** You will have the opportunity to "modernize your skillets" in a "dynamic team environment" by working with "up-and-coming technologies" to include AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, etc. ** Key Responsibilities: * Maintaining and upgrading the Kubernetes clusters on the systems.
* Patching, upgrading, scanning, reporting, and remediation of vulnerabilities for the systems.
* Providing support to create/maintain ATO for the systems.
* Continuous monitoring of all systems. Requirements and Qualifications: * The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
* 10 years of experience as a System Administration for Linux (Red Hat and CentOS) and Windows/VMWare.
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Preferred Skillsets: * Experience with System Administration in the cloud (deploying and operating services and applications in an Amazon AWS/C2S infrastructure environment).
* Experience with Kubernetes.
* Experience with Docker.
* Experience with Microservices architectures.
* Experience with Network Information Service (NIS), Network File System (NFS), Domain Name System (DNS), and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). What GDIT Can Offer You: * 401K with company match
