Description:
ManTech is seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is an onsite position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Researching, designing, and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
* Conducting analysis of user needs and developing solutions by applying computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis techniques
* Updating software and enhancing existing software capabilities.
* Working with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
* Maintaining databases within an application area.
* Working individually and in coordination with the database development group as a team.
* May be responsible for oversight of lower-level developers. Minimum Qualifications: * Master's degree in Computer Science or an IT-related discipline and 10 years of experience relevant to the responsibilities listed above.
* Experience working with one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Structured Query Language (SQL) and/or Python.
* Experience utilizing Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Preferred Qualifications: * Experience developing and/or updating software associated with Navy weapons. Clearance Requirements: * Must be a US Citizen and possess an active Secret clearance in order to perform work on this contract. Physical Requirements: * Tasking is primarily computer based.
* The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
* Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods.
