GENERAL FUNCTION: * Assist in managing all furniture, equipment, and accessories classified as assets assigned to the facilities. * Perform daily inspections of facilities and track, report, and resolve facility-related issues. * Assist in prioritizing tasks per the direction of the Government RPBM and following all policies in the Hill AFB Facility Manager's Handbook. * Perform minor repairs, improvements, and maintenance as per the handbook guidelines and track all work requests until resolution. * Analyze and advise the Government on internal space reorganizations and space assignments, considering operational needs. * Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and Government officials to ensure proper execution of space plans. * Assist in gathering data and preparing documentation for facility-related projects such as office refurbishment, carpet replacement, and signage placement. * Submit and track work requests with Civil Engineering (CE) for required maintenance and repairs. * Respond to emergency facility issues within one hour of notification and report safety issues within two hours. * Maintain the grounds surrounding the assigned facility, ensuring they are safe, clean, and free of hazards, following the Facility Manager's Handbook. * Assist in planning and managing various facility-related projects such as seat management, office reconfigurations, and furniture installation/relocation. * Follow-up on moving/transportation requests with appropriate organizations and provide status updates on project progress. * Promote energy conservation practices in the facility by ensuring lighting is appropriately managed and the building is secured when unoccupied. * Inspect facilities for hazardous materials and ensure compliance with environmental management guidelines related to waste and recycling procedures. * Assist in establishing and enforcing building security procedures, including key control and card access management. * Help ensure proper tracking and accountability of building and office keys, in compliance with the Hill AFB Facility Manager Handbook. * Assist with tracking facility maintenance budgets and expenditures, identifying financial discrepancies, and working with relevant departments to resolve issues. * Help gather data, summarize project needs, and prepare documentation for financial planning and budgeting purposes. * Support the development of a COOP plan by providing relevant facilities information in case of operational disruptions due to environmental or man-made disasters. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills: * MA Degree and at least 10 years of experience in the related field, 5 of which must be with the DoD, OR , BA Degree and at least 12 years of experience related to the position requirements, 5 of which must be with the DoD, OR , 15 years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be with the DoD. * Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret Level. * Must be able to perform functional duties independently. * Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook) * Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required.
