Overview Job Title: Commercial Journeyman Electrical Maintenance Technician Job Summary Dean|Fluor is looking for a skilled, licensed Commercial Journeyman Electrical Maintenance Technician with a strong background in commercial and industrial electrical systems working with low to high voltage systems. Works with TTO project managers to complete various projects. Key Responsibilities * Install conduit , electrical equipment and fixtures in commercial and industrial settings. * Test and troubleshoot all installed equipment and wiring using diagnostic tools such as voltmeter , megger , phase rotation meters etc. * Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of electrical systems. * Work with low, medium and high voltage systems. * Provide support for electrical infrastructure installations. * Safely utilize power tools and maintain a clean work environment. * Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals. * Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70 NEC, and local codes. * Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools. * Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure personal and team safety. * Perform other duties as assigned. Required Experience * Minimum of 4 years as a Commercial Journeyman Electrical Maintenance Technician in a commercial/industrial environment. * Familiarity with electrical installation and repair tasks. * Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols. * Proficiency in using various power tools and electrical equipment. * Experience in working with conduit installations. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. * High school diploma or GED and an Electrical Journeyman license. * Must be capable of achieving and maintaining TS/SCI security clearance. * Ability to lift and work with equipment over six feet and work in confined spaces. Skills * Proficient in reading and interpreting technical instructions, plans, and schematic diagrams. * Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 NEC standards. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload with minimal supervision. * Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective scheduling skills in a dynamic environment. * Compliance with all city , state, and federal licensing and certification requirements. Additional Information * Lifting and physical exertion are required for this position. * Required to perform other assignments as needed. ABILITIES: * Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time. * Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance. * Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders. * Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis. * Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English. * May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools. * Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. * Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. * Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events). * See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). * Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
