Overview SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Technician to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. Essential Job Duties * Assists users via phone and field support in a wide range of computer issues.
* Installs, upgrades, and maintains desktop and portable computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
* Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical problems.
* Enters and updates tickets into the automated trouble ticketing system; tracks trends andrecommends corrective actions; and ensures compliance with applicable security and property accountability requirements.
* Interfaces with Network Operations team on integration issues and product research andinstallation testing.
* Provides minor network cabling installations and modifications as required.
* Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements * Candidate must possess or be eligible for favorable T1 (NACI, national Agency Check) investigation.
* DoD 8570.01 IAT level I (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP) compliant or higher. Preferred Qualifications * Active Public Trust clearance. Work Environment * Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
* Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
