Responsibilities As a Network Operations Center Technician with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:
* Configuration for all DMO events.
* Initial account creation for all DTOC mission networks.
* Monitoring the health of mission networks.
* Monitoring status of circuits.
* Plan for and respond to service outages and other problems.
* Assign, modify, and delete passwords and user privileges.
* Implement client workstations software patches, security fixes, and service releases.
* Provide first level of SIEM notification support.
* ANG OTTI Tier 1 help desk support. Qualifications * High School degree and 8 years of experience
* Secret Clearance
* Experience providing help desk support
* Experience in basic Microsoft Windows system and user account administration
* Experience in basic network monitoring and identifying/mitigating potential network outages
* Must be able to become expert user of DIS Gateway Core and GUI, and expert understanding of connectivity between remote sites to the DTOC, and to the Event Control Centers
* Experience analyzing network traffic and troubleshooting DIS/HLA packets using Wireshark, DPA, or similar software tools
* Basic understanding of continuous monitoring methodologies and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and first phase analysis of security scans * Basic understanding of DIS/HLA IP-based radio communication solutions, and commonly used simulation Image and Environment Generator applications
* Must maintain Security + certification

The salary range for this position is USD $67,800.00/Yr. - USD $113,200.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
