Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. * This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26 Qualifications For GS-11 level, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following: 1) Performing and or advising on work in any phases or systems of budget administration; 2) Formulating budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities; 3) Reviewing and evaluating budget resources; control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures; 4) Developing, determinations, and interpretations of budgetary policies and practices; and 5) Analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of programs and administrative operations.
