Senior Windows Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

Description SAIC is seeking a motivated and self-driven Windows Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator to support an essential customer mission area and organization. The position requires someone to work both individually and in a team environment to complete deadline-driven tasks. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows-based systems and networks, providing technical support to users, and ensuring the security and reliability of the infrastructure. Responsibilities/Functions: * Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based operating systems, servers and applications * Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and network connectivity issues * Implement and manage security protocols and firewalls to protect against cyber threats * Deploy and manage software updates, patches, and antivirus software * Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls * Create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures * Provide technical support to end users, which may include HW and SW troubleshooting and resolution * Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement new technologies and solutions * Ability to flex hours as required to support mission needs and emergency response Qualifications * Minimum of 5 years' experience in Windows system administration/engineering * Minimum of 9 years of overall technical experience * Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly clearance * Bachelor's Degree, or relevant experience can be substituted * Proficiency with Microsoft Powershell * Experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP * Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V * Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANs * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desired * Industry certifications such as MCSE, MCSA or CompTIA A+ * Experience with automation for Windows SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
