Duties * Provide property book analysis and asset visibility reporting as the property book/asset visibility custodian. * Develop internal policy as it pertains to property accountability and/or management. * Identify problems in property management and/or accountability operations for the development of recommendations. * Oversee implementation of corrective actions and program enhancements to meet mission goals. * Develop policy and procedures on property accountability and equipment management. * Assist supported units in the preparation and processing of investigative reports. * Evaluate plans and ensures the implementation of corrective actions/changes reflect new requirements, technologies, and safety concerns. * Provide guidance on all Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPLs) initiated within the command. * Review Modified Table of Organization Equipment (MTOE), Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA), and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) equipment authorizations for the Command. * Maintains area of responsibility on asset visibility and property accountability for all organizational and installation equipment. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly. * This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
