Overview Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers. Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Support Specialist shall ensure the optimal functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety through planned maintenance inspections (PMI). Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: * Shall use AF Form 332, Base Civil Engineer Work Request, and Microsoft (MS) office to initiate and document repairs, deficiencies, alterations, and new construction. * Coordinate support functions (such as vendors, custodial, security, fire, safety, health and environmental, and network infrastructure). * Verify projects are in compliance with building codes, regulations, and life safety standards. * Shall maintain and update documents and records using automated systems. * Shall serve as the energy conservation monitor. * Shall maintain key control. Keys that are not assigned to specific individuals shall not be removed from the installation without approval from the COR. * Shall respond to fire department or security forces emergency calls to the Killey Center. * Shall be a liaison to the COR for the custodial contract within the Killey Center. * Shall liaise between the 325th FW and AFNORTH/AFSPACE regarding facility issues. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: * Ability to analyze complex data and situations, and provide clear, actionable insights. * Strong capability to identify problems, think critically, and implement effective solutions. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. * Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in teams or cross-functional environments. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
