Team Lead - Full-Stack SW Developer Code, QA, C++, Product Delivery Location: San Diego, CA 92108 On Site Clearance Required DoD Secret Clearance Overview: We are seeing a Senior Lead Full Stack SW Developer, heavy hands on coding, quality assurance and control, DoD (defense sector and Federal security customers) experience with the ability to lead / manage a team, product delivery, and programmatic responsibilities to include driving product vision, strategy, and execution across firmware, UI/UX, AI/ML, and full stack development workstreams. Product is focused on C-UAS (Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems). Its SW is designed to detect, track, and defeat drones by using various sensors and algorithms to monitor airspace and take appropriate countermeasures when a threat is detected. Including many technologies to include RF scanners & analyzers, radar, electro-optical systems (cameras), infrared (IR), digital signals, etc. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of Software Development / Engineering specifically coding (C/C++), Full stack (front end, back end), cyber / security, quality assurance & quality control.
Minimum of a bachelors degree in related field is required
Extensive experience coordinating technical delivery and execution across firmware, UI/UX and AI/ML software engineering teams. Background in US Defense (DoD), Federal security, or related government sector with demonstrated success in launching software products that meet federal security and compliance standards, such as NIST, FIPS or other relevant frameworks. Experience managing a small team of developers (4-5) in developing and defining product requirements, delivering best-in-class products from concept through delivery, ensuring solutions are market-ready and meeting the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance required in the defense sector. Current and active US DoD Secret Clearance. May consider Public Trust if you meet the rest of the requirements. Experience with similar developing SW products related to RF, sonar, radar, electro-optical, IR, digital signal, satellite, or similar is highly desired. Salary Range is 180K-230K This salary range will vary depending on a combination of skills, education, experience, past successes on similar projects, proven ability to manage people, product management, and other related qualifications.
